The tall glass vial with black knurled lid with safety lock is a professional set designed for safe and accurate dispensing, especially of liquid solutions and easy-to-spill formulations. Thanks to the dark glass, light exposure, including UV, to sensitive ingredients is naturally reduced, promoting stability and quality of contents during storage. The glass is suitable for products where material stability and preservation of formulation properties are important. Depending on the product parameters, the packaging is also available in food-grade quality, which also allows for use in selected products intended for internal use.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, food grade is indicated in the parameters for this product. For food applications, we recommend that you take care to ensure the cleanliness of the packaging, the appropriate choice of closure and always test the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific contents (especially the seal and the practical dispensing).
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refill, the packaging should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected - for example, IPA 99% (ALK001) or Ethanol 96% (ALK002) may be a suitable choice. Then allow the packaging to dry completely and refill until dry.
The lid is fitted with a locking mechanism to reduce the risk of inadvertent opening. It is particularly suitable for products that require more controlled handling. Before final fitting, we recommend checking the comfort of the opening and the seal in actual use.
For formulations with a higher proportion of alcohol, essential oils or fragrances, we recommend performing a test of the seal and stability of the closure over time. Test for leaks, loose threads or changes in dosage. A short stress test before deployment into normal operation is practical.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. As the packaging material is listed as glass in the parameters, take the empty and rinsed vial to a glass collection centre according to local regulations. Sort the plastic parts (cap and dropper) separately into plastics if your collection system allows it.
