The ZENISOAPBASE soap base is used for the production of soaps and soap bouquets. It has a plant-based base and the final soap has excellent foaming properties and, thanks to the high glycerin content, it also provides excellent moisturizing of the skin.

It is produced with natural unrefined shea butter (which has been saponified using NaOH). Shea butter causes a slightly yellow tint and a faint nutty scent. The advantage of this soap base is that it hardens quickly, therefore it is suitable for making larger soaps and other more voluminous projects.
During longer standing there is no loss of volume of the soap casts (important especially when creating bouquets).
The soap base is free from animal fats and oils – 100% vegan.

When coloring the base with ZENICOLOR dyes, it is better to mix 70% of the transparent CLEAR base and 30% of the white WHITE base in order to avoid excessive consumption of dyes.

Melting temperature: 65 °C
Do not exceed a temperature of 75 °C when heating!

Working with the soap base is not demanding at all. Simply cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces, which will speed up the melting phase of the base. Slowly heat the base in a water bath or in a microwave. Be careful, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. Into the melted base you can add a few drops of essential or fragrance oil, a liquid or powder colorant and, for a special touch, dried herbs.

Stir slowly so that unnecessary air bubbles do not form, which would create holes after hardening. Pour the soap base into the prepared mold. Immediately after pouring, we recommend applying with a sprayer a few sprays of bubble remover, which is 99% isopropanol. In case you pour the soap in different layers, the individual layers must be sprayed with alcohol to increase adhesion. The final step is to let it harden. After unmolding you can use the soap immediately, but we recommend letting the base rest for about 2 weeks for better properties.
