Titanium dioxide is a naturally occurring mineral that is obtained from titanium oxide.

It is soluble in water. It is used as an additive in mineral make-up because it has good adhesion, high coverage and provides excellent protection against sun radiation. It is mattifying.

Together with zinc oxide, they form active components of cosmetic products intended for problem skin. Many dermatologists recommend them for their healing properties.
If you want to use the oxide as part of wax/oil-based cosmetics such as lipsticks, it is more suitable to use an oxide that is soluble in oil.

We supply titanium dioxide in pharmaceutical grade.
