Heavy soda or washing soda or powdered washing soda is used for washing and soaking heavily soiled laundry (towels, socks, work clothes), it dissolves fats and removes stains from textiles. It also increases the effectiveness of laundry detergents.

Since it softens water, it also protects your washing machine from limescale deposits.

It is one of the basic raw materials for making homemade laundry powder and soap gel, which represent the most ecological and at the same time the cheapest way of washing.
When switching to this way of washing, we recommend measuring the hardness of your water and adjusting the dosage accordingly.
It can also be used in the kitchen for degreasing baking trays or for tablets for the dishwasher.
