Try creating a silky whipped butter with us that pampers your skin and evokes a cosy festive atmosphere. It combines the warming aroma of clove and blood orange, making it feel like a little comfort ritual on cold days. The texture is very light, absorbs without a greasy film, and leaves the skin soft and radiant.
Melt all the phase A ingredients in a water bath (approx. 70 °C). Add Coco-caprylate/Caprate and the chamomile macerate, stir and allow to cool slightly.
At approx. 40 °C add the essential oils and the rosemary CO₂ extract. Gently stir so that the fragrance disperses evenly.
Place the oil base in the refrigerator or briefly in the freezer until it begins to set. The consistency should be firm at the edges but creamy in the centre.
Add the rice starch and vitamin E to the semi-cooled mixture. Whip with a mixer until the mixture acquires an airy, foamy consistency. If necessary, repeat the cooling and whipping.
Fill the finished butter into clean jars and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. With proper storage it will last for several months.
Light, airy and gently aromatic whipped butter that leaves the skin hydrated, supple and delicately scented with a warm blend of orange and clove. Ideal as winter care after a shower or bath and also as a handmade gift.
With proper storage in a cool, dry place it lasts 6 to 9 months. Vitamin E slows down the oxidation of oils and helps maintain the fragrance and colour of the formula.
The formula is water-free (anhydrous) – it contains only oils and butters. Without the presence of water, microbial growth practically does not occur, so a preservative is not necessary. Be careful not to introduce moisture during use.
Shea butter does not hydrate with water, but acts as an emollient and mild occlusive – it softens, smooths and helps reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
If the product is exposed to heat and then solidifies again, it may lose its whipped texture. Store away from heat and sunlight; re-whipping usually helps.
Yes. For an oilier skin type, reduce the coconut oil and add more light emollient; for very dry skin, add a richer butter (e.g. cocoa butter) and apply to damp skin.
Yes, keep to the recommended dermal limits. Vanilla, cardamom or a drop of cinnamon work well.
