Petitgrain is extracted from the bitter orange tree.

There are three types of essential oils that are extracted from this tree:

???? Bitter Orange is produced by cold pressing from the stones of the fruit

You may be confused by the name Petitgrain (from the French for little grain). Originally, the oil was extracted from green and young, unripe oranges, which were the size of peas.

How and where can you use this essential oil?

???? Petitgrain is mainly used in perfumery, where it is added to sprays, perfumes, lotions and colognes.it is a popular ingredient in both women's and men's skin and hair cosmetics.

???? It also has deodorising properties - it limits the growth of bacteria in those parts of the body that are always exposed to heat and sweat and remain covered by clothing. It thus prevents body odour and ultimately various skin infections.

???? Last but not least, you can use it in aromatherapy. The relaxing effect of Petitgrain essential oil helps to overcome depression and other emotional problems such as anxiety, stress, anger and fear. It boosts mood and induces positive thinking.

???? It is also effective in calming nervous disorders, convulsions and epileptic and hysterical seizures.
