Essential oil from green mandarin peel (Citrus nobilis) comes from Italy and offers an intense, fresh, citrus fragrance. Green mandarin is known for its soothing properties on the nervous system and its ability to support healthy digestive, immune and respiratory functions. It provides an uplifting effect and a great addition to many blends for health, cleansing and mood enhancement.

Essential oil, green mandarin, belongs to the Rutaceae family. It is classified as a top note and blends well with camphoraceous, citrus, herbal, floral, spicy and woody oils. The essential oil of this mandarin has strong antiseptic properties that can help, for example, with itchy scalp. It can also help to alleviate nausea and relax the muscles.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and also have protective effects. Their chemical composition is quite complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exception is tea tree and lavender essential oil, which you can apply directly.

Use appropriate protective equipment when handling oils.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent / solubiliser.
