Aluminium Bottle, White Pump, 200 ml

The aluminium bottle with a white pump dispenses liquid and medium-thick cosmetic products in single doses, without unscrewing or pouring. Opaque aluminium blocks light, so sun-sensitive contents stay protected throughout use. The bottle is light and unbreakable, which you will appreciate for packaging that stands on the edge of a bath or sink. The 200 ml volume matches typical household use of body lotion, liquid soap or shampoo.

What it is suitable for

• Body lotions and light emulsions – a liquid to medium-thick consistency passes smoothly through the pump and the dose stays even.
• Liquid soaps and shower gels – one-handed dispensing, with no contact between wet fingers and the bottle neck.
• Shampoos and conditioners with lower viscosity – the bottle will not break in the shower and hand pressure is enough to dispense a dose.
• Massage oils and body oils – the pump measures out roughly the same amount with each press, so the oil does not run over.
• Handmade cosmetics for sale – a silver bottle with a white pump is a neutral base for your own label.

Thick creams, butters and products that do not flow at room temperature will not be drawn up by the pump, or will be dispensed unevenly. Jars or containers are more suitable for such products.

How to use the set

The pump screws onto a 24/410 neck finish and the tube is lowered into the bottle. The tube is longer than the bottle, so before the first filling trim it with a sharp knife or scissors so that it touches the bottom and does not kink.

One press of the pump releases a dose of approximately 1 ml. After filling and screwing on the pump, press it several times without product until the tube fills and the pump starts to dispense.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is intended for in normal filling. The total brim-full volume is the physical volume up to the neck and you will find it in the parameters. The difference between them is a deliberate reserve. Part of the space is taken up by the pump with its tube, and the rest prevents the contents from pushing out the pump or leaking around the thread when warmed.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash the bottle and the pump, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave them to dry completely. Drops of water in the bottle could dilute the first doses or compromise the stability of a product without sufficient preservation.

The pump is made of polypropylene (PP). With concentrated essential oils, solvents or strongly acidic or alkaline water-based formulations, we recommend testing how the whole set behaves with your specific recipe before you start a larger batch.

The bottle is recyclable as aluminium. Before disposal, unscrew the pump, which belongs with plastics.
