The aluminium bottle with transparent cap represents a modern, lightweight and durable packaging suitable for a wide range of liquid and semi-liquid preparations. Thanks to the stable material and precise manufacturing, it is ideal for the safe packaging of cosmetic formulations, homemade recipes as well as smaller professional batches. The aluminium pharmaceutical bottle is designed to protect the contents from external influences while also looking aesthetic and professional.
Aluminium bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The aluminium bottle is primarily intended for liquid to medium-viscosity products such as toners, light lotions, oils or solutions. Thicker emulsions or gels can be used provided that you choose a suitable type of closure or dispensing system that allows comfortable application. Before final launch onto the market, we recommend conducting a test of filling, dosing and long-term stability in the specific combination of product and packaging.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling it is important to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and of the new fill quality being affected by residues of the previous product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and removing product residues before disposal. Aluminium bottles are generally classified as metal packaging, so after cleaning, place them in the container intended for metal waste, or follow the local recycling rules stated by the municipality. In the case of composite packaging (for example plastic cap and metal body), it is ideal to separate the individual parts and recycle them in the appropriate fractions, where possible.
The aluminium bottle as a metal packaging provides a good barrier to light, which is advantageous for products sensitive to photodegradation. For particularly sensitive formulations, however, we recommend combining the packaging with proper storage – for example in a cool, dark place – and verifying the long-term stability of the product under the conditions in which it will actually be used.
The simplest solution is to use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can clearly sort the packaging according to several parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can quickly find bottles, jars or containers that will best match your specific product, filling technology and desired design.
When filling, it is important to ensure clean working conditions and an appropriate product temperature so that the surface treatment of the packaging is not damaged. It is recommended to avoid strong impacts and mechanical deformation of the bottle, which may affect the tightness of the closure. For storage, choose a dry, clean and stable environment without extreme temperatures and without direct contact with corrosive substances. It is always advisable to carry out a long-term stability test of your specific formulation in the selected aluminium packaging.
