Can the aluminium jar be used repeatedly?

Yes, this aluminium jar can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and subsequently disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after the inner surface is completely dry is the jar ready for new filling.

How should the aluminium jar be properly cleaned before reuse?

First mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then wash the jar in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and rinse well. After drying, disinfect the inner and outer surfaces with an alcohol solution (for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol). Before refilling, make sure that no moisture or detergent residues remain in the jar.

For which types of products is this aluminium jar most suitable?

The jar is ideal especially for thicker, semi-solid and solid products that are easy to scoop with a finger or spatula – for example lip balms, body butters, ointments, waxes, solid perfumes or small travel packs of favourite creams. How can the aluminium jar be safely disposed of and recycled if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the jar any longer, we recommend directing it to recycling according to the material specified in the product parameters. After removing any remaining contents and basic cleaning, the clean aluminium packaging can be placed in the separate waste collection for metal packaging, if the collection system in your area allows it. In this way, you support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the volume of mixed waste.
