The aluminium jar with lid is a lightweight, practical and well-sealing packaging suitable for filling creamy, gel-like and loose products. Thanks to its compact dimensions and durable metal body, it is ideal for travel sizes, tester samples and smaller product batches that require reliable protection against external influences.

The smooth inner surface of the jar makes both filling and emptying the contents easier and helps achieve an accurate dose during manual application. The closable metal tin is suitable for cosmetic balms, butters, waxes, solid and semi-solid cosmetics, as well as for small loose or granulated blends. Before each new filling, the jar must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and ensures the longest possible stability of your formulation.

For what type of cosmetic products is this jar most suitable?

The jar is particularly suitable for thicker and solid formulations, such as lip balms, body butters, herbal ointments, waxes, deodorants or solid perfume. Thanks to the wide opening, the contents are easy to scoop out with fingers or a spatula, and the user has good control over the amount of product applied.

How should I clean and disinfect the jar properly before the next filling?

After using up the original contents, remove any product residues, mechanically clean the jar (e.g. with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent) and allow it to dry thoroughly. Then wipe or spray the inner surface and the thread with an alcohol disinfectant, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, the jar is ready for a new filling.

When the screw cap is properly closed, it provides good protection of the contents against spilling or being squeezed out. For maximum comfort, we recommend not filling the jar completely to the brim and, for very soft products, considering short chilling to reduce the risk of unwanted spreading at higher temperatures.
