This product represents a combination of bottle with dispenser, which is ready for direct use without the need for additional closure selection. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with proper handling and maintenance. With each refilling it is important to follow basic hygiene principles – the bottle and dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available in our range, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the complete drying of the internal surfaces and components is it suitable to fill the container again with a new product.
We recommend, after emptying the bottle, disassembling the dispenser into individual parts to the extent that the construction allows without force. Rinse the components with warm water and a mild detergent and pump clean water through the pump several times to remove all residues of the product. Then allow the parts to dry thoroughly and before reassembling you can disinfect them with an alcohol-based preparation. For thicker formulations it is advisable to carry out cleaning more frequently in order to prevent gradual clogging of the dispensing mechanism.
The aluminium bottle with dispenser is most suitable for liquid to slightly emulsion-type formulations that can be easily drawn through the thin tube of the pump. These are mainly facial toners without sprayer, light body milks, fluids, serums, liquid conditioners or various treatment emulsions. For very thick creams, balms or gels with high viscosity, dispensing may be difficult and it is more appropriate to choose packaging designed for denser products (for example airless systems or jars).
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter within the packaging categories. This allows you to quickly select suitable packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material. By combining several filters, you narrow the selection down only to packaging that meets your requirements for design, volume and type of closure or dispensing.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, after thorough emptying and basic cleaning it is suitable to recycle it according to the recommendations given in the product parameters. The metal body of the bottle is usually sorted with metal packaging, while the plastic part of the dispenser may belong in a container intended for plastic, or possibly in mixed waste – always follow the local rules of waste separation and the information provided with the specific product. Before handing over for recycling, we recommend separating the metal and plastic components to the extent possible without damage, in order to facilitate their further processing.
