Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and to avoid compromising the stability of your formulation.

First, mechanically rinse the packaging to remove residues of the original product; if necessary, use a suitable mild cleaning agent compatible with aluminium. Then thoroughly rinse the bottle and the dispenser with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. After rinsing, it is necessary to disinfect the components – we recommend applying an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA or ethanol), allowing it to act and then letting them air-dry at room temperature. Only after completely drying is the packaging ready for new filling.

If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend classifying it into sorted waste according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The aluminium part of the packaging can generally be handed over to the collection of metal packaging, while the plastic dispenser should be separated and placed in the appropriate stream of sorted plastic waste, as long as this is in accordance with local sorting rules. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging from product residues to facilitate the recycling process and reduce the burden on the environment.

The dispenser is suitable primarily for low to medium viscosity formulations, such as light facial and body emulsions, fluids, serums or various aqueous and hydroalcoholic solutions. For very thick creams or balms, dispensing may be limited. Before introducing it into production practice, we therefore recommend testing the dispensing on a small trial batch to verify the consistency of the output, the back suction and the user comfort for the end customer.

The compact dimensions and low weight of the aluminium packaging are practical also for travelling. When carrying it, we recommend checking that the dispenser is firmly screwed on and, if necessary, using additional protection (for example placing it in a separate pocket or case) to minimise the risk of unintended pressing of the pump. Before the first use for travelling, it is advisable to perform a short leak test – place the filled and closed bottle on its side for a while and check whether any leakage of the contents occurs.
