Boston glass medicine bottle with black cap and pouring insert represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise and controlled dosing of various liquid preparations. The combination of high-quality glass, a screw cap and a practical pouring insert ensures hygienic use, secure closure and comfort during everyday dosing.
This type of medicine bottle is popular for filling liquid cosmetic preparations, concentrated solutions, extracts or oil blends, where precise flow control and protection of more sensitive contents are important. The dark glass also helps protect the contents from excessive light exposure, which is advantageous for products prone to changes in colour, fragrance or stability.
Boston-type glass medicine bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters for the specific bottle. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass medicine bottle is suitable for most oil-based and active cosmetic solutions, because glass is a stable and chemically resistant material. For formulations with a very high content of acids, alcohol or specific solvents, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product, monitor any changes and verify the functionality of the pouring insert and the cap during longer-term storage.
The packaging can be reused provided that proper hygiene practices are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle, cap and pouring insert must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol – for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the bottle.
The pouring insert is designed to enable controlled and smooth flow. Slightly tilt the bottle when pouring and regulate the flow by changing the angle of tilt and the pouring intensity. For more viscous oils or more concentrated solutions, it is advisable to pour more slowly and allow the contents to flow out smoothly to avoid overflow or splashing.
If you do not wish to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. Dispose of the glass part of the packaging in the container designated for glass, in accordance with the instructions of your collection system. Sort the plastic components (cap, insert) according to the type of plastic indicated in the material designation. Before handing over to separate collection, it is advisable to empty the packaging and, if necessary, remove coarse product residues in order to facilitate the recycling process itself.
