This glass bottle – medicine bottle with a pre-fitted spray pump forms a complete combination of packaging and dosing element, which is particularly suitable for products in spray form. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with higher alcohol content or essential oils.

Yes, both the bottle and the spray pump can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling. To ensure hygienic safety, it is important that you thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging before each new filling. We recommend using a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely and only then refill them with the product.
The spray pump is ideal especially for low-viscosity liquids that need to be applied in the form of a fine spray or mist. In practice, it is used for facial and body sprays, hair tonics, hydrolats or aromatherapeutic sprays intended for external use. For thicker emulsions and oil blends, we always recommend performing a trial filling and testing whether the dosing proceeds smoothly and without clogging.
First, disassemble the bottle and spray pump into individual parts, if their construction allows it. Wash the glass part with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Then we recommend disinfecting the packaging – for example using alcohol-based products such as IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. For the spray pump, it is advisable to flush the internal channels with clean water and then with the disinfectant solution, pressing the mechanism several times so that the solution passes through the entire system. Before refilling, make sure that all parts are dry.
If you decide not to continue using the bottle with spray pump, we recommend first emptying the packaging and removing any remaining contents. It is appropriate to place the glass part into sorted glass collection in accordance with local regulations. Dispose of the spray pump and plastic components according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website, so that recycling is in line with the current sorting system in your region. Before handing over for collection, it is not necessary to wash the packaging perfectly; however, it is important to remove larger product residues.

Yes, the smaller-volume glass bottle with spray pump is very practical for creating test and sample packaging of products, for example when developing new formulas or presenting a planned cosmetic line. Thanks to precise dosing, it is possible to work economically even with a smaller amount of formulation, which facilitates internal testing, sending samples to clients or selling travel mini versions of your products.
