Glass dropper bottle with black safety cap is a professional packaging suitable for filling various liquid preparations where precise dosing and secure closure are important. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from light and contributes to the stability of formulations during storage. In combination with the safety closure, the bottle is ideal for products where reliable sealing and minimizing the risk of unintended opening are important.
The glass bottle itself is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing uniformity and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

The dark glass of the bottle helps reduce light penetration, which is beneficial for products that are sensitive to oxidation or degradation due to radiation. In practice, it is suitable for serums, oils, concentrates and other formulations that require more stable storage conditions. For very sensitive active ingredients, we recommend also providing suitable storage conditions (cooler and dry environment) according to the recommendations of the raw material manufacturer.
The glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is important to thoroughly clean the packaging, remove residues of the original product and then disinfect it. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available in the Handymade range – IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow the bottle and the cap to dry completely and only then refill it.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass container can generally be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, in a container intended for glass, while the plastic or composite cap is sorted according to the recommended type of plastic. When recycling, follow the symbols and information in the parameter table so that the packaging is classified in the correct category of sorted waste and can be efficiently recovered.
The safety closure is designed to lock reliably after proper tightening and to reduce the risk of unintended opening during handling. When transporting shipments, however, we always recommend carrying out your own sealing test with the specific formulation, checking correct tightening of the cap and additionally protecting the bottle during packing (for example by using fillers, protective sleeves or boxes) in order to minimise the risk of mechanical damage to the glass.

This allows you to quickly compare several options and choose a solution that best suits your formulation and the intended dosing method.
