The straight-top glass bottle is a universal packaging suitable for cosmetic as well as laboratory formulations where precise application and content stability are important. The smooth surface and opaque glass allow easy visual inspection of the product, which you will appreciate for serums, tinctures or oils. Thanks to the chemically resistant glass, the bottle is suitable for filling liquid and slightly viscous preparations that require reliable protection and professional presentation.
Glass bottles with this type of top neck are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected on the website. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – to verify sealing, flow and dosing accuracy, as well as the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, acidity, etc.).

Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for homemade and professional cosmetic recipes such as serums, toners or oil blends. It is recommended to use it for finished, cooled formulations and always to test in advance the compatibility of the specific product with the closure or dispenser used (for example whether it seals and doses well at the given viscosity).
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the corresponding closure and then disinfect them, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol suitable for packaging hygiene. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated do we recommend refilling the packaging.
First remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaning agent. After washing, allow the bottle to dry naturally with the neck facing downwards. Before refilling, disinfection of the inner surface and the neck of the packaging with alcohol is recommended, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %, and only after it has completely dried is the packaging ready for further use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations and the information in the parameter table for the product. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass bottle in the appropriate glass container according to the system in your municipality. Closures and dispensers made of other materials are usually sorted separately; therefore always follow the material labelling on the individual parts of the packaging and the recommendations given for the specific product on Handymade.sk.
