Glass dropper bottle represents a professional solution for precise dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in laboratory practice. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from external influences and, when used correctly, contributes to longer stability of the contents. In combination with the integrated dropper, you obtain a practical and elegant packaging that supports safe and hygienic use of your formulations.
This glass bottle is supplied as a standalone packaging that is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters – for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before the first filling we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle, rinsing it thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. To disinfect the inner surface as well as the dropper, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After application it is necessary to allow the alcohol to evaporate completely so that the packaging is dry and ready for filling.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle and dropper, rinsing them and then disinfecting with an alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Such a procedure helps minimize microbial contamination and maintain the quality of the new formulation.

It allows you to clearly filter bottles, dropper bottles and other containers by several parameters – especially by neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can quickly select the combination of packaging and closure that best matches the character of your product and the desired dosing method.
The dropper bottle is ideal for liquid and low-viscosity formulations that need to be dosed dropwise or in small amounts. Typically these are facial and hair serums, concentrated oils, aromatherapy blends, active solutions or herbal extracts. For formulations with very high viscosity we always recommend performing a trial filling and testing whether the dropper provides the desired dosing comfort.
We recommend storing the filled packaging well closed, in a dry and cooler place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. This helps preserve the stability of the contents and the properties of the raw materials used. When handling the dropper, it is advisable to avoid contact of the pipette with the skin or other surfaces in order to minimize the risk of product contamination.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass part of the bottle can, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the container intended for glass, according to the designation in the product parameters. The dropper and any plastic components should be separated and sorted according to their material composition, which you will find in the parameter table. In this way you support effective recycling and reduction of mixed waste volume.
