The glass dropper bottle with spray pump is a professional packaging component for precise dispensing of cosmetic and technical preparations in the form of a fine mist. The dark glass helps reduce light transmission to the contents, which is beneficial for formulations sensitive to external influences. The precisely engineered spray pump ensures even application and comfortable use in everyday face, hair, or body care.
The packaging is suitable for liquid and slightly viscous products that benefit from spray-format dispensing. The glass bottle provides stability and chemical resistance, making it ideal for various types of formulations – from toners and essences to functional blends with active ingredients. The elegant design of the packaging supports the premium character of the finished product.
This glass bottle with fitted spray pump is designed to form a functional unit for comfortable spray-format dispensing of the contents. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with atypical pH, alcohol content or a higher proportion of oil components.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new fill. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the Handymade range. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the packaging.
First remove any residues of the previous fill by rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent (compatible with the previous formulation). After thoroughly rinsing with clean water, all parts must be disinfected. For this purpose, it is appropriate to use highly concentrated alcohol, such as isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant ethanol ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After contact with the alcohol, allow the bottle and spray pump to air dry at room temperature and only then refill them.
The spray pump is primarily intended for low-viscosity, water-based formulations, such as toners, hydrolats or light face and body sprays. For thicker emulsions or oil blends, there may be poor uptake, uneven mist or nozzle clogging. If you plan to fill oil-based or more viscous products, it is recommended to carry out your own dosing test and, if necessary, choose a different type of dispensing system (for example a dropper or pump) from the relevant categories on Handymade.sk.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle itself, once thoroughly emptied and rinsed, is typically placed in the container designated for glass. The plastic parts of the spray pump (head, tube, any caps) are usually sorted with plastics. Before sorting, follow the recommendations in your municipality and the information on the material in the product parameter table on Handymade.sk. In case of doubt, it is advisable to consult local waste sorting rules so that recycling is as effective as possible.
