Glass dropper bottle is a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations, where purity, stability and protection of the composition are important. High-quality glass provides a reliable barrier against external influences and, in combination with the dropper, enables comfortable and hygienic dosing even during long-term use. Dark glass naturally helps protect sensitive components from the effects of light, which is especially beneficial for products prone to degradation.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles and appropriate cleaning are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them, ideally using suitable alcohol-based disinfectant preparations such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for refilling.
The glass dropper bottle is generally suitable for most oil- and water-based cosmetic preparations, such as serums, oils or drop solutions. For very aggressive or atypical formulations (for example with an extreme pH value or a high solvent content), we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test on a smaller amount to verify the behaviour of the formula in contact with the glass and the dropper over a longer storage period.
We recommend storing filled glass bottles in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Dark glass helps protect sensitive components from light, but to maintain product quality it is advisable to keep the dropper bottle in closed cabinets or drawers. Always ensure that the closure or dropper is tightly screwed on, which minimizes the risk of contamination and evaporation of volatile components.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend disposing of it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the parameters of the respective product. The glass container can normally be placed in the glass collection container after emptying and basic rinsing, while the plastic or rubber parts of the dropper go into the appropriate sorted waste according to their material labelling. Before recycling, remove product residues and separate the individual parts of the packaging to make correct sorting easier.
