The tall glass vial with dropper is a practical container for precise and hygienic dispensing of smaller quantities of liquids and more viscous mixtures. Thanks to its stable material, it is suitable for packaging more sensitive formulations that require a reliable barrier and longer-term protection. With a dark glass design, the packaging has reduced UV transmittance, which helps protect the contents from degradation by light. The packaging is also food grade and therefore suitable for products intended for indoor use.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
We recommend using the advanced filter, which can be found at the top of the page by clicking on the category. It allows you to filter your packaging by parameters such as neck, size, colour and material to quickly find the most suitable solution for your product.
Yes, the packaging can be reused as long as hygiene guidelines are followed. Before each refill, the packaging must be cleaned and then disinfected. For example, you can use IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 96% for disinfection. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly.
Yes, this packaging is food grade. It is therefore also suitable for the filling of liquid nutritional supplements, tinctures and extracts intended for internal use, and we always recommend hygiene in filling and storage.
Before deploying into production, do your own test: fill the packaging with the final formulation, check the seal and dosage, and allow the sample to stand under both normal and stress conditions (e.g. temperature change, transport). Observe any changes in odour, colour, viscosity and dispensing behaviour of the dropper.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Empty and rinse the glass portion if possible, then sort it into a glass container. Separate the dispensing parts (e.g. plastic and silicone components) and sort according to local plastic/mixed waste rules. For product residues, follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the cartridge and local regulations.
