Glass vial with nasal spray is a professional packaging solution intended for filling liquid preparations that require targeted, gentle and hygienic application into the nasal cavity. Thanks to high-quality pharmaceutical glass and a precise spray mechanism, it is suitable for formulations containing water as well as alcohol that need reliable protection from external influences and practical dosing in small volumes. The packaging is ideal for cosmetic manufacturers, pharmaceutical preparations marketed as cosmetics, as well as for smaller artisanal brands and laboratory formulations that are looking for a packaging solution that is both aesthetic and functional.
Yes, the vial can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed, especially in your own artisanal production or when refilling the same type of formulation. Before each new filling it is important to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable). It is necessary to disinfect not only the glass bottle but also all parts of the spray mechanism, as far as the material composition and construction allow. After cleaning and disinfection, let all parts dry completely at room temperature and only then refill the packaging.
The method of recycling depends on the materials listed in the product parameters for this vial. The glass body of the packaging is usually sorted into the container designated for glass, while the plastic or metal parts of the spray mechanism should be separated and placed according to the instructions of your local sorting facility (typically into the container for plastics or metals, or into mixed waste if your local system does not allow their recycling). Before recycling, we recommend emptying the packaging and removing any remaining product as far as possible. Always follow local waste-sorting rules so that the material can be recovered as efficiently as possible.
The nasal spray is designed primarily for liquid solutions of low to medium viscosity based on water or water containing alcohol. Thicker gels, oil macerates or highly viscous blends may reduce the quality of atomisation or cause clogging of the nozzle. We therefore recommend always carrying out your own dosing test – to verify whether the specific formulation passes reliably through the mechanism, does not form lumps and whether the spray produces a sufficiently fine dispersion suitable for the given type of use.
For regular maintenance we recommend, after emptying the packaging, rinsing the glass bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent and then with clean water. The spray mechanism should be carefully sprayed through with clean water or, if necessary, with a weak alcohol solution to remove product residues. Afterwards you can disinfect the individual parts with alcohol (e.g. preparations based on IPA or ethanol from the Handymade range) and let them dry naturally. Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents, strong mechanical pressure and high temperatures, which could damage the plastic components of the spray.
To select suitable packaging we recommend using the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, vials or sprays). In the extended filter you can conveniently combine several parameters at once – select a suitable neck finish, the required size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you can quickly narrow the offer down to only those packs that meet the technical and design requirements of your product. When choosing, always also take into account the type of dispensing and we recommend testing the compatibility of the packaging with the specific formulation.
