The medical-type glass bottle is a professional packaging solution that is ideal for precise dosing and safe storage of various liquid preparations. Thanks to its robust laboratory design, it is suitable for formulations where product stability, cleanliness and reliable closure are important. The combination of durable glass and a child‑resistant cap reduces the risk of unintentional opening and supports user comfort in both home and professional production.
Glass packaging is generally considered a very stable and inert material, so it is also suitable for more concentrated solutions and formulations with active ingredients. However, for every new formula we recommend performing your own compatibility test – fill a small amount of product, observe the behaviour of the contents over time and verify the sealing of the child‑resistant cap under normal handling.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based disinfectant, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant‑based. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for reuse. In the case of significant wear or damage to the thread or closure, we recommend discarding the packaging and replacing it with a new one.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it in accordance with the recommendations specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, after being emptied and rinsed, is normally placed in the appropriate glass collection according to local rules. The closure and any plastic or other components must be sorted according to their material and the relevant recycling symbol indicated with the product. Before placing in sorted waste, we recommend removing any product residues in order to minimise contamination of the sorted material.
The child‑resistant cap helps reduce the risk of unintentional opening but does not replace standard safety measures for storage. Bottles containing concentrated preparations, oils or other more sensitive formulations must always be kept out of the reach of children and pets, ideally in a dry and cooler place. During handling, we recommend paying attention to firmly tightening the closure and regularly checking the sealing.
