Is this plastic medicine bottle suitable for repeated use?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and the suitability of the material for the given type of filling is respected. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and then disinfect it with a suitable preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and aired out is the packaging ready for reuse.

How should the packaging be properly cleaned and disinfected before refilling?

Before repeated use, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. Then disinfect the inner and outer surface of the packaging and any closure with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow the alcohol to evaporate completely and only then refill the packaging.

How can I recycle or dispose of this medicine bottle in an environmentally friendly way?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation given in the parameter table next to the product. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to remove any remaining filling and separate any differing materials (for example a plastic cap with an insert or dropper).
