Plastic pharmaceutical bottle with spray pump represents a practical solution for dispensing liquid preparations that require gentle application in the form of a spray. FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The packaging can be reused provided that you observe basic hygiene principles and its further use is appropriate from the perspective of your formulation. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the spray pump – ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is it appropriate to fill the packaging again.

How can I properly clean this bottle before first use?

Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning component and then disinfecting it with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow the inside of the bottle, the dip tube and the spray head to dry thoroughly so that no alcohol residues remain in the packaging that could affect the finished product.

How should I proceed with recycling if I decide not to use the packaging further?

If you do not plan to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. Before placing it in separated waste collection, it is advisable to remove any product residues, rinse the bottle and, if possible, separate the plastic parts (bottle body, spray pump, any cap). Then place the individual components in the appropriate container according to local recycling rules and the material marking on the packaging.

Is the spray pump also suitable for more viscous preparations or oils?

Spray pumps of this type are primarily intended for low-viscosity, liquid formulations based on water or alcohol. With thicker emulsions or oils, spraying performance may deteriorate or the mechanism may become clogged. For oil-based or distinctly viscous products, we recommend testing the dosing performance on a small trial sample before final bottling.
