The plastic medicine bottle with spray pump represents a practical and lightweight packaging solution for liquid cosmetic preparations and other formulations where fine, even dispersion is required. Thanks to the combination of durable plastic and a functional spray pump, it is suitable for packaging preparations intended for topical application to the skin and hair, as well as for various working solutions and auxiliary blends. The dark design of the bottle helps protect more sensitive contents from undesirable light exposure.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). This will ensure optimal functionality of the spray pump and long-term stability of your product in the selected packaging.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the spray mechanism, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. Disinfection helps minimise the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of your cosmetic formulations.
When using a plastic medicine bottle with spray pump, it is important to monitor the compatibility of the packaging with the specific formulation. Highly concentrated or aggressive ingredients may, over time, affect the sealing or plastic parts of the spray pump. We recommend carrying out a trial filling and a short-term storage test to verify correct dosing, closure tightness and material stability in contact with your product. Do not leave the bottle exposed for long periods to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
Before refilling, we recommend first cleaning the packaging mechanically – rinsing it with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry. Afterwards it is advisable to disinfect the internal surfaces and parts of the spray pump with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging to dry completely to minimise the effect of residual solvent on the new formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in separated waste collection, remove any residual contents, rinse the packaging and, where possible, separate the plastic bottle from the spray pump. Then sort the individual parts into the appropriate containers according to local recycling rules. In this way you reduce the amount of waste and contribute to more efficient recovery of used packaging materials.
