Plastic vial, brown is a practical packaging material for safe and hygienic packaging of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as for products intended for internal use. The dark design helps to limit light exposure to the contents, which is advantageous for more sensitive formulations (e.g. oil blends, extracts or aromatic concentrates). The packaging is food grade and the PET material makes it lightweight, durable for normal handling and suitable for everyday use.
The vials are compatible with different types of closures and dispensers (e.g. screw caps, droppers, dispensers or handy applicators) according to the chosen parameters. The packaging and closure combinations, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
We recommend using the advanced filter, which can be found at the top of the page by clicking on the category. It allows you to refine your selection by parameters such as neck, size, colour and material to match the packaging to your product type and chosen closure.
Yes, the packaging can be reused as long as hygiene guidelines are followed. Before each refill, the packaging must be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002) - we recommend using IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 96%. Allow the packaging to dry completely before refilling.
PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures as this may cause deformation of the packaging. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for dishwashing or boiling. For applications with higher temperature loads, we recommend choosing packaging designed for the process.
We recommend doing a practical test on a sample: fill the packaging with the final formulation, close with the chosen closure and observe the tightness, dosage and behaviour of the material over time (e.g. during storage and transfer). For formulations with higher levels of perfumes, essential oils or solvents, the compatibility test is particularly important.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. As it is PET, empty the bottle, rinse if necessary, and sort it into the plastic collection. If you are using a cap or dispenser made of another material, it is advisable to separate the parts and follow local waste sorting rules.
We recommend storing the container in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. For more sensitive formulations, it is advisable to minimize prolonged exposure to light and take care to close the packaging cleanly to reduce the risk of contamination.
