Glass bottle – medicine bottle with aluminium cap is a practical container intended for precise and hygienic packaging of various liquid and partially viscous products. Thanks to high-quality glass and a tightly fitting closure, it is suitable for cosmetic preparations, homemade formulations and professional blends, where cleanliness, stability and protection of the contents are important. The smooth surface of the bottle makes it easier to label and to present the product professionally.
Glass bottles – medicine bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil-/water-based system, etc.).

Yes, the container can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle suitable for refilling.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface with an alcohol-based product, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and to fill the container only after the alcohol has completely evaporated. You can use the same procedure when reusing the packaging.
To select a suitable bottle or other container, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or jars), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. You can conveniently filter products by neck type, size, colour and material, which significantly facilitates the selection of the most suitable packaging for your specific formulation.
The bottle with aluminium cap is compact and, when the closure is properly tightened, provides reliable sealing of the contents, so it is also suitable for carrying smaller amounts of products. However, we always recommend performing your own leak test with your specific formulation and, during transport, placing the container in an upright position, or in a resealable bag or pouch for additional protection.
If you decide not to use the container any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass part can generally be placed in the glass container after it has been emptied and basically rinsed. The aluminium cap is sorted according to local guidelines for metal packaging. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove product residues to facilitate processing in the recycling process.
The glass medicine bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and less viscous formulations, such as aqueous and alcoholic solutions, oil blends, tinctures, serums or concentrated extracts. Thanks to the inert nature of glass, it is also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or essential oils, where minimal interaction of the packaging with the contents is important. For very aggressive or specific chemical mixtures, we always recommend performing your own material compatibility test.
