Glass bottle – dropper bottle with black cap and pour-in insert represents a professional packaging suitable for precise and controlled dosing of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and integrated pour-in insert, it allows comfortable, clean and repeatedly accurate pouring without unnecessary dripping and product loss.
This type of dropper bottle is ideal for formulations that require protection from external influences and at the same time comfortable use by the end customer. The dark glass naturally helps to reduce light transmission and thus supports the stability of sensitive components, which is especially important in the case of natural oils, extracts, aromatherapeutic blends and other product formulations.
This product represents a combination of bottle, cap and pour-in insert, which is designed to form a functional and practical unit for precise dosing of liquids. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dark glass helps to reduce light exposure to sensitive components, thanks to which the dropper bottle is also suitable for natural oils, herbal macerates or aromatherapeutic blends. However, before final inclusion in production, we always recommend carrying out an internal stability test directly with your formulation to verify the long-term behaviour of the product in the selected packaging.
The pour-in insert is designed for smooth and controlled dosing of the liquid. After opening the cap, we recommend gently tilting the bottle and letting the liquid flow freely through the insert without vigorous shaking. This ensures an even flow and minimizes dripping down the walls of the neck. During the first use, you can test the flow with a smaller amount of product to find the ideal angle and pouring intensity for the specific viscosity.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene principles and appropriate cleaning are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle, cap and pour-in insert must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol ALK001 – IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol ALK002 – ethanol 96 %. We also recommend avoiding mixing fundamentally different types of products in the same packaging (for example, switching from a perfumed oil to a sensitive serum) and, in professional production, following internal hygiene protocols.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the container designated for glass after emptying the contents as much as possible. The cap and pour-in insert must be sorted according to their material (most often plastic) – the information can be found in the parameter table for the product. Before sorting, we recommend removing product residues to facilitate the recycling process and reduce the risk of contamination of other waste.
To select a suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the chosen packaging category. There you can filter by neck type, desired size, colour and material, which significantly facilitates the search for compatible bottles, dropper bottles, jars or closures. By combining these parameters, you can quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that will best meet your formulation and the visual concept of your brand.
