Glass bottle – medicine bottle with 28 mm screw thread and gold cap represents a presentable and practical packaging solution suitable for both professional and home filling of various liquid formulations. High‑quality glass is a stable and inert material, which minimizes interaction between the packaging and the contents, something you will appreciate with sensitive cosmetic and other specialized preparations. The bottle is designed to allow convenient dosing as well as easy handling during filling, labelling and storage.
The separate glass bottle – medicine bottle with 28 mm screw thread is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. You can combine it, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators designed for the same neck type.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your particular product.

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle usually needs to be freed of any product residues, the cap removed, and the individual parts sorted into the respective collection containers according to local recycling rules. In this way you support an environmentally considerate approach and the efficient use of raw materials.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and ventilated do we recommend refilling the packaging, in order to maintain the quality and stability of your product.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with clean water, possibly using a mild cleansing agent, then rinsing thoroughly so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, it is advisable to spray or rinse the inner surface with disinfectant alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and allow it to ventilate thoroughly. A packaging prepared in this way will provide your product with the best possible hygienic conditions.
First, it is advisable to empty any remaining product and separate the individual parts of the packaging (glass bottle and cap). Then sort them according to the material specified in the product parameters – the glass part typically belongs in the glass container, and the cap, depending on its material (e.g. plastic or metal), in the corresponding separated waste stream. Recycling rules may differ depending on local legislation, so we recommend following the instructions of your local recycling centre or waste management company.
The glass medicine bottle is suitable for many liquid and low‑viscosity products, including a number of oil‑based formulations. For more viscous products it is important to choose a compatible type of closure or dosing system (for example a dropper, pump or another applicator) to ensure comfortable dosing. We always recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging together with the selected closure – checking sealing, dosing smoothness and long‑term stability.
