Glass bottle medicine vial 28 mm 50 ml is a universal packaging suitable for professional and home filling of liquid preparations, cosmetic blends and concentrated solutions. High-quality glass ensures the stability of the stored formulations, easy control of the contents and enables safe dosing in everyday use. Thanks to the precise finish of the neck, this small bottle is suitable for combining with various types of closures and dispensing systems, which makes it a practical container for laboratory, cosmetic and craft use.
Glass medicine vials are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected directly in the offer. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for preparations with a high content of alcohol, acids or highly aromatic components.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To choose a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material category. You will find it at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category, where you can easily filter according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. This allows you to easily narrow down the offer to packaging that corresponds to the required type of closure, volume and visual style of your product.
Yes, you can safely use the glass bottle repeatedly if you follow hygiene principles. Before each new filling, however, it is necessary to wash the container thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new product. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured in a grade suitable for cleaning packaging, which you can find in the Handymade range, for example the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the bottle and closure to dry completely and only then fill them again.
This glass medicine vial is suitable for packaging liquid and low-viscosity preparations where precise dosing and good stability of the contents are important. In practice it is used mainly for serums, toners, oil blends, active concentrates, laboratory solutions and aromatherapeutic preparations. When choosing the specific use, we also recommend taking into account the type of the intended closure or dispenser so that it corresponds to the viscosity and character of the formulation.
Before first use we recommend rinsing the bottle and the chosen closure with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing them thoroughly with drinking water and then disinfecting them with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment with alcohol, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely in a clean place. Only when the glass is dry and free from residues of cleaning agents is it ready for filling with your final product.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the recommendations shown in the product parameter table on the Handymade website. Glass parts can usually be handed in to the container intended for glass after emptying and basic cleaning of product residues, while the closure or dispenser is sorted according to the material indicated (for example plastic or metal). Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to separate the glass bottle from the closure to facilitate the proper processing of the individual materials in the recycling process.
