The glass dropper bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid and partially viscous preparations. Thanks to the stable glass, it is ideal for formulations where purity, long-term stability and protection of active ingredients are important. It represents a universal choice for cosmetic formulations, laboratory samples and small-batch artisan products.
This type of dropper bottle is often used for preparations that require controlled dosing – dripping, fine spraying or application via a precise applicator. In combination with a suitable closure or dispenser, it can ensure reliable protection of the contents during storage and handling.
Glass dropper bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomiser sprays or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected at purchase. On Handymade.sk you will find several combinations of packaging and closures created directly within the product recommendations – these are tested in terms of functionality and reliability in normal use.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for preparations with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or acids.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass dropper bottle is suitable for most oil-based and water-based formulations, including facial serums, toners, oil blends and aromatherapeutic preparations. For every new formulation, we recommend performing a trial filling and short-term stability monitoring in order to verify the behaviour of the specific formulation in the selected packaging and with the chosen type of closure or dispenser.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles and appropriate cleaning are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then refill it.
First, rinse the bottle mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After washing, disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution (for example using products available on Handymade) and let it air-dry in a clean environment. When reusing, it is important to treat the corresponding closure or dispenser in the same way, provided that its design allows this.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend including it in separate collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and, if necessary, rinsing, dispose of the glass container in the bin intended for glass. Recycle the closure, dropper or spray pump separately according to their material composition, if local waste sorting conditions allow. Before recycling, please remove any product residues and any labels that are coming off, so that the packaging is suitable for further processing.
To choose a suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging material category. Using the filter, you can clearly narrow down the range according to several parameters – for example neck type, size, colour or material. This allows you to quickly find the bottle, jar or pot that will best match your formulation and method of application.
Yes, the glass dropper bottle is very practical for development and test batches where you need smaller quantities of product and more precise dosing. It allows you to continuously monitor the stability, fragrance and consistency of the formulation, and, if needed, you can reuse it after thorough cleaning and disinfection. This type of packaging is also suitable for taking samples for clients or for internal testing in smaller volumes.
