Transparent round plastic bottle with black cap is a universal packaging suitable for modern, artisan and professional formulations. Thanks to its transparent body, it allows convenient visual control of the contents and their consistency, which is especially appreciated by manufacturers of cosmetics, body and hair care products and homemade cleaning preparations. The practical screw cap ensures reliable closure, which helps to minimize leakage of the contents and supports hygienic use of the bottle.
The packaging is designed to be easy to fill, label and store, while at the same time withstanding normal handling in home production as well as in small-scale artisan manufacturing. The transparent walls of the bottle allow an attractive presentation of the colour and texture of the product and make it easier to monitor the remaining amount.
The standalone plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of caps and dosing systems according to the parameters selected on Handymade.sk. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, provided they have matching neck parameters.
The packaging–cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (especially with active ingredients, high or low pH, alcohol content or essential oil content).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and the nature of the filled product is suitable. Before each refilling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. For hygienic preparation we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough drying, the bottle can be refilled with a suitable formulation.
Since this is packaging made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures such as hot water, direct heat radiation or long-term exposure to the sun at high temperatures. If the recommended temperature range is exceeded, there is a risk of deformation of the bottle and deterioration of the cap tightness. The PET packaging is not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling; gentle hand-cleaning with lukewarm water and a mild detergent is recommended, possibly followed by disinfection with alcohol and complete drying before the next use.
The bottle is most suitable for liquid and low-viscosity products such as toners, facial and body waters, fluid emulsions, light serums, aqueous solutions or thin cleaning concentrates. In combination with a correctly chosen cap or dispenser, it is possible to achieve comfortable dosing even for slightly thicker formulations. For very thick products (for example butter balms or gel concentrates) we recommend considering another type of container, such as a jar or pot, so that dosing is practical and user-friendly.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, responsible recycling according to the type of material specified in the product parameters is recommended. Since the body of the bottle is usually made of PET material, after thorough emptying and rinsing it belongs in the container intended for plastic waste. The cap may be made of a different plastic, so it is advisable to separate it before recycling and sort it according to local plastic collection rules. Adapt the exact sorting method to the material designation on the packaging and the recommendations of your collection system.

In the extended filter it is possible to combine several criteria at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size and shape of the packaging, the colour of the material and also the material itself (PET, glass, aluminium, etc.). In this way, you can quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that meets the required technical and visual parameters of your product.
A PET bottle is generally suitable also for many formulations containing alcohol or essential oils, but we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test with your specific composition. In the case of higher alcohol content, strongly acidic or alkaline formulations or a high proportion of essential oils, it is important to monitor the stability of the plastic, the tightness of the cap and the preservation of the appearance even after long-term storage. It is recommended to fill a smaller test batch and monitor the packaging and the contents for several weeks before placing the product on the market or using it long-term.
