Glass bottle – rounded pharmaceutical vial is a universal packaging suitable for precise filling of liquid and powdered preparations. Clear glass enables immediate visual inspection of the contents, which is appreciated by manufacturers of cosmetics, aromatherapy and laboratory formulations. In combination with a quality closure, it offers reliable sealing, hygienic dosing and a professional appearance of the final product.
Thanks to the use of pharmaceutical‑type glass, this vial is popular for packaging serums, oils, tinctures, extracts and intensive concentrates where formulation stability and protection against contamination are important. The rounded shape sits comfortably in the hand, the bottle is easy to fill, store and label, and it looks aesthetic in both home and professional production.
The standalone glass vial is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters. You can combine it with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the bottle precisely to the product type and the desired method of application.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying tightness, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil/phase composition, etc.).

The glass vial is a universal packaging suitable for most oil‑based and water‑based cosmetic products, tinctures and solutions. Glass is a chemically stable material that typically does not react with cosmetic oils, hydrolats or alcohol‑containing solutions. Before filling, we always recommend testing the specific formula in a small trial batch in order to verify the long‑term stability and behaviour of the product in contact with the packaging and the chosen type of closure or dropper.
The glass vial can be reused multiple times if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned (rinsing, suitable cleaning agent, thorough drying) and then disinfected with an appropriate alcohol‑based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Allow the disinfectant to act and, if necessary, allow any excess alcohol to evaporate at room temperature. Only then is the bottle ready for refilling.
If you decide not to use the glass bottle any further, we recommend emptying it, removing any product residues and, where possible, separating the packaging into individual parts (glass container, closure, any inserts or droppers). Then dispose of the glass part in a container intended for glass collection according to local waste‑sorting rules. Caps and plastic components should be sorted according to the material designation given in the product parameters. In this way you support correct recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The choice of closure depends on the consistency and mode of use of the product. For oil serums and tinctures, droppers or pipettes are practical; for liquid toners and facial waters, a classic screw cap or drop insert is suitable; and for aromatherapy blends or sprays, a fine mist sprayer may be ideal. When choosing, follow the neck parameters of the bottle and the available closures in the relevant category, and after combining them we always recommend performing your own tightness and dosing test with the specific formulation.
