The glass bottle – pharmaceutical vial with cream dispenser represents a professional solution for packaging creamy and semi-liquid formulations that require precise and hygienic dosing. The compact-volume bottle is suitable for small batches, testers and travel sizes, where product protection, user comfort and a representative appearance of the packaging are important.
Thanks to the high-quality glass and integrated pump, it enables clean and controlled dosing of creams, emulsions or serums without direct contact with the contents. This minimizes the risk of contamination and reduces the need for preservatives compared to classic jars. The packaging is suitable for cosmetic as well as artisan projects where a professional appearance and reliable dosing functionality are important.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a black cream dispenser, which is designed for convenient and precise application of the contents. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the selected cream, emulsion or serum will perform stably and without problems in the packaging during long-term use.

Before filling, it is important to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the finished product. It is recommended to mechanically rinse the bottle, remove any impurities and subsequently disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and after applying the disinfectant it is necessary to allow the packaging to dry completely and air out so that the residual alcohol can evaporate before the actual filling.
The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed, especially for smaller batches of home-made or artisan cosmetics. For repeated use it is essential to completely empty the packaging after the contents have been used, dismantle the dispenser as far as the construction allows, wash all parts thoroughly and then disinfect them. Before each new filling, the packaging must always be cleaned and disinfected, for example using the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. It is also recommended to carry out a trial filling of a small sample of the product in order to verify the correct function of the pump and sealing after repeated use.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle and dispenser, it is recommended to clean the packaging of cream residues after the contents have been used and sort it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging can usually be placed, after cleaning, in a container intended for glass, while the plastic components of the dispenser belong with plastic waste, unless the local recycling rules state otherwise. Always follow the local waste collection system and the material information in the parameter table so that recycling is as effective as possible.
The cream dispenser is ideal for creamy and semi-liquid formulations such as lighter creams, emulsions, facial serums with a thicker consistency, gels and spot preparations. Very thick balms or butters with a high content of solid oils may not be suitable for this type of pump, therefore it is always recommended to first test the dosing on a small sample of the product. The correct viscosity will ensure smooth and even dosing without clogging or excessive pressure during use.
