The glass bottle with a white ribbed child‑resistant cap represents a practical and aesthetic packaging option for smaller amounts of liquid preparations, ideal for cosmetic as well as craft projects. The transparent glass allows immediate visual inspection of the contents, which facilitates dosing and monitoring the colour and consistency of the preparation. Thanks to the precise closure and safety system, this bottle is suitable for filling even more sensitive liquids, where it is desirable to minimise the risk of accidental opening during storage or transport.
Glass packaging is generally considered stable and suitable for most cosmetic raw materials, including active ingredients and concentrated solutions. Before final use, however, we recommend performing your own compatibility test with your specific formulation to verify the behaviour of the product during long‑term storage (colour, odour, stability and any sediment).
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to clean the bottle thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol, for example with the IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant‑based ethanol 96 % products available on Handymade (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/, /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/). This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in your preparations.
First remove any product residues, rinse the bottle with warm water and, depending on the type of residual contents, use a suitable cleaning agent (e.g. a mild detergent). After thorough rinsing, allow the packaging to dry completely. Before refilling, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface with alcohol, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allowing it to evaporate. For closures and safety elements, it is advisable to pay attention also to the threaded part, where product residues can accumulate.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, assigning it to sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging is usually placed in the container intended for glass, and the plastic or combined closure is then placed in the appropriate plastic recycling container, unless otherwise stated in the parameters. By following local waste‑sorting rules, you support efficient recycling of materials.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the desired category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or jars), you will find advanced filtering at the top of the page, where you can select packaging according to several parameters – specifically by neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly adapt the offer to your formulations and to your requirements for the design and functionality of the packaging.
