Plastic bottle – dropper bottle is a practical, lightweight and durable container for precise dosing of liquid as well as powder preparations in cosmetics, laboratory formulations or home production. Thanks to its transparent design, you have an immediate visual overview of the fill level and colour of the contents, which makes it easier to check batches, shades and the remaining amount of product. The material of the bottle is designed so that, when used correctly, it provides a stable and reliable packaging for various types of solutions, serums, tinctures and blends.
If the bottle is made from PET material, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of this plastic: it is not advisable to expose PET material to high temperatures; with long-term or repeated exposure to heat, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. Such a container is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning and disinfection with a suitable product according to the instructions in the FAQ section is recommended.
This plastic bottle – dropper bottle is designed as a standalone container that is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – to verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or oil phase content).
All technical parameters of the container are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Detailed information about the type of plastic, suitability of use, any possible food-grade suitability, the neck and other properties can be found directly in the parameter table at the product. Before selecting the packaging, we recommend carefully checking this data and adapting it to your specific formulation and intended method of use.
Yes, the container can be reused if handled correctly and if there is no visible damage, always under strict hygiene conditions. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to act, let the remainder evaporate completely and only then refill the container. For PET containers, avoid boiling and dishwashers in order to prevent deformation of the material.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. With the help of the filter, you can quickly choose a suitable bottle, dropper bottle or jar according to parameters that are key for your product – specifically according to neck type, size, colour and material. In this way, you can display only those containers that meet your technological and visual requirements.
The bottle is ideal for smaller volumes of drop-dose and liquid preparations where precise dosing and visual control of the content are important. In practice, it is often used for serums, toners, facial treatments, hair tonics, test samples, laboratory solutions, diluted aromatherapeutic blends or special solutions intended for local application. Suitability for a specific formulation is always determined by the composition of your product, so it is advisable to produce a trial batch and monitor the behaviour of the material during long-term contact with the contents.
First remove any residues of the original product by rinsing with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic equipment. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, apply disinfection – for example by spraying or rinsing with alcohol-based products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the container to dry completely and air out so that the alcohol components can evaporate. For PET containers, do not use high temperatures, do not boil them and do not put them in a dishwasher, in order to prevent deformation of the material.
If you decide not to use the container any further, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material type stated in the product parameter table (for example plastic packaging intended for the yellow container). Before discarding, it is advisable to empty the bottle, remove any remaining contents and, where possible, separate the different parts (bottle body, closure, inserted dropper or pump) if they are made of different materials. The recycling symbol and the recommended method of disposal can be found in the product parameters on the Handymade.sk website. By following these instructions, you support efficient recycling processes and the reduction of waste volume.
When choosing a closure or dispenser, it is crucial to follow the neck type data given in the product parameters. Then select the dosing method that best matches the character of your formulation – a dropper insert for liquid and low-viscosity solutions, a spray pump for sprays and toners, a screw cap for simple pouring or an applicator for targeted application. The container–closure combinations created on Handymade are tested and functional; nevertheless, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing uniformity and long-term stability in contact with your specific product).
