The plastic bottle with a disc-top closure represents a practical and professional solution for packaging cosmetic and other liquid preparations that require convenient dispensing directly from the container. The transparent design allows visual control of the contents and usage, giving you a constant overview of the amount of product. It is particularly suitable for liquid and slightly viscous formulations, where clean application without unnecessary waste is important.
The disc-top closure allows more precise dosing by pressing the top part, making handling of the contents hygienic and comfortable even with everyday use. The plastic bottle made from high-quality material is designed to retain its shape and functionality under normal use and proper storage. Thanks to its compact size, the bottle is suitable for the bathroom, travel bag and professional cosmetic premises.
Plastic bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators – always according to the specific parameters of the packaging and accessories selected on the site. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or essential oil content).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
If the packaging is made from PET material, it is recommended to take into account the specific properties of this plastic. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures; under excessive thermal load it may lead to deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its functional properties. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. When cleaning and preparing for repeated use, gentle procedures without extreme heating should be used.
The packaging can be reused with proper handling; however, we always recommend observing basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. For packaging made of PET material, avoid high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to prevent deformation of the bottle.
Before further use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleansing solution or a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, it is advisable to disinfect the internal space and the closure with an alcohol-based preparation, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Avoid using very hot water, boiling or a dishwasher, especially in the case of PET, where there is a risk of deformation of the shape.
The disc-top closure is optimal primarily for liquid and medium-viscosity preparations, such as toners, light oils or more fluid gels. For very thick creams, dosing may be less comfortable and it is recommended to consider another application system, for example a pump or an airless system, depending on the nature of the specific product. Before final filling, we recommend testing the behaviour of the formulation in a small amount in order to verify smooth dosing through the opening of the closure.
Plastic packaging should be stored in a dry, clean place, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. For packaging made of PET, it is important to avoid long-term exposure to high temperatures (for example at a window, in a car in the sun or near a radiator), so that softening or deformation of the material does not occur. It is also recommended to store the bottles without extreme mechanical pressure to prevent unwanted changes in shape.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. After emptying, remove any remaining contents as well as possible, rinse the bottle and separate any combined parts (e.g. the closure). Then dispose of the packaging in the collection container intended for the given type of plastic according to local waste-sorting rules. In this way, you support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
