The plastic bottle with a transparent sprayer and glossy silver ring is a universal cosmetic packaging suitable for filling various liquid preparations that need to be applied as a fine mist. FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this spray bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed, especially within your own cosmetic production. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging – we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Disinfection is also important for the spray mechanism itself in order to minimise microbiological risk and ensure the stability of the final product.

How should I clean the packaging correctly and what should I watch out for with PET material?

The PET packaging should be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsed well and then disinfected with alcohol. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures in order to prevent deformation. For this reason the bottle must not be boiled, sterilised with boiling water or washed in a dishwasher. After rinsing and disinfection, allow the packaging and sprayer to dry thoroughly at room temperature, ideally in an upright position.

For which types of products is this sprayer most suitable?

The sprayer is ideal for low-viscosity liquids such as facial and floral waters, toners, facial refreshers, light hair sprays, room and textile sprays or hydrolats. For thicker emulsions or oil blends we recommend first preparing a small test batch and verifying whether the mechanism ensures smooth and even spraying without clogging and dripping.

How should I properly dispose of or recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its environmentally friendly recycling according to the type of material listed in the parameter table for the product. After emptying, remove any product residues, optionally rinse the packaging and then separate it according to its individual components (bottle body, sprayer, decorative parts). The PET bottle body is usually placed in the container designated for plastics, following local waste sorting rules and the recommendations given in the product parameters on Handymade.sk.

The simplest way to choose is to use the extended filter in the packaging category. Is this bottle suitable for storing products over a longer period of time?

The bottle is suitable for normal storage of cosmetic spray preparations, provided that they are formulated in accordance with the recommendations for the given type of packaging. It is recommended to keep it at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, in order to prevent degradation of the contents and possible deformation of the PET material. For long-term storage, proper preservation of the product itself and regular checking of the sprayer functionality are also important.
