The plastic bottle with disc-top closure is a practical and professional-looking packaging solution suitable for various types of liquid and gel-based preparations. Thanks to its transparent design, you always have visual control over the contents, which makes dosing and monitoring the product consumption easier. The disc-top cap enables convenient and hygienic use without the need to open the bottle completely, which helps protect the contents from contamination.
This type of packaging is popular for custom-made cosmetics, artisan products and smaller runs of professional preparations. The disc-top system is suitable for products that are applied drop by drop or in smaller amounts and require controlled squeezing out or pouring of the contents.
This bottle is supplied together with a practical disc-top cap that ensures convenient dosing of the contents. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The bottle can be reused provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and the material is compatible with your product. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After rinsing with the disinfectant, allow the bottle and closure to dry completely. When changing the type of product (e.g. from an oil-based to a water-based one), always consider using new packaging.
First, rinse the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. Then rinse it with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. For final disinfection, use a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % plant-based denatured, which you pour into the container or use to thoroughly rinse the interior. After disinfection, allow the bottle and disc-top closure to drain and dry completely at room temperature. Do not use boiling or dishwashing in a dishwasher to avoid undesirable stress on the plastic.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic specified in the parameter table for the product on Handymade. Before throwing it into the container, remove any remaining contents and, if possible, also labels or adhesive residues. The bottle body and the cap usually belong in the plastics container, and it is advisable to separate them to facilitate sorting. By recycling the material, you reduce the amount of waste and support its further use in the recycling process.
The disc-top closure is ideal for liquids and preparations of medium viscosity that are dosed in smaller amounts – for example body lotions, shampoos, shower gels, hair tonics, liquid soaps or massage and body oils. It allows convenient one-handed dosing and reduces the risk of accidental spillage. For very thick creams or, conversely, extra thin solutions, we recommend first testing whether the flow and closing performance meet your requirements.

This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer only to packaging that meets your technical and design requirements and to more easily find the optimal solution for a specific product.
