The bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are observed, as long as it is not visibly damaged or deformed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the container and then disinfecting it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol in technical grade or ethanol intended for cosmetic use. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle ready to be filled again.

PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because excessive heating may lead to gradual deformation and deterioration of closure functionality. We do not recommend washing this bottle in a dishwasher or boiling it, as high temperatures and aggressive washing cycles can damage the shape and surface of the plastic. For cleaning, rather use lukewarm water, a mild detergent, thorough rinsing and subsequent disinfection with alcohol, always allowing the bottle to dry completely.

Using the filter, you can adjust the offering according to parameters such as neck type and diameter, size (volume), colour and material used. In this way you will quickly find bottles, vials, jars or other containers that best match your product and the intended mode of application.

Before filling, the bottle should be clean, dry and disinfected, ideally with an alcohol solution, and then left to air-dry. Fill it at room temperature to avoid thermal stress of the PET plastic and avoid very hot or freshly boiled mixtures. When pouring, use a funnel or a suitable dosing tool to prevent the product from running down the neck and thread, which will improve sealing and hygiene during subsequent use.

If you decide not to use the container any longer, we recommend placing it into separate collection according to the recycling designation of the material stated in the product specifications. Before discarding, check the material of both the bottle and the cap and sort them accordingly – place the plastic part in the container designated for plastic packaging and the metal cap in metal waste, if this is supported in your municipality. The container should be emptied as much as possible and, if necessary, rinsed, to facilitate its recovery in the recycling process.

The PET plastic bottle is, under normal use, also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or essential oils, but for higher concentrations or long-term storage we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test. Fill a small amount of product, monitor any changes on the container wall (softening, clouding, tension) and check whether the cap seals reliably. In this way, you verify that the given formulation is fully compatible with the specific bottle and closure even during long-term use.
