The plastic bottle with spray pump represents a practical solution for convenient and precise dispensing of liquid preparations in a fine mist. Thanks to the combination of a transparent plastic container and a functional mechanical sprayer, it is ideal for packaging preparations where consumption control, easy application and visual control of the filling level are important. The packaging is suitable for various formulations with lower viscosity that need to be applied effectively and evenly to the skin, a surface or into the surrounding space.
Yes, the packaging can be reused with proper handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the spray pump in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill them with the selected product.
First rinse the packaging and the spray pump with lukewarm water and a mild detergent to remove residues of the original product. Then rinse the bottle and the individual parts of the mechanism with clean water. After mechanical cleaning, it is advisable to carry out disinfection with a suitable alcohol (for example with the recommended products based on isopropanol or ethanol), allowing the disinfectant solution to act for a short time. Finally, let all components air-dry at room temperature so that no residual moisture remains inside that could affect the stability of the new filling.
Plastic packaging and sprayers of this type are not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures. Contact with hot water, steam or a dishwasher programme may cause deformation of the bottle walls, deterioration of sealing or impairment of the functionality of the spray mechanism. The packaging is not suitable for boiling or sterilisation at very high temperatures. We recommend using only lukewarm water, mild cleaning agents and alcohol disinfection in order to maintain the long-term functionality and appearance of the bottle.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend sorting it for separate collection according to the material specified in the product parameters on the Handymade.sk website. Before handing it over for recycling, empty the bottle as much as possible and rinse it so that no significant residues of the contents remain. Then separate the plastic components (bottle body, cap, spray pump) and place them in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to local rules. By following the recommendations in the parameter table, you help ensure effective material recovery of the packaging at the end of its service life.
