The plastic bottle with a flip-top cap represents a practical and hygienic packaging solution for various liquid cosmetic formulations, gels, serums or light emulsions. Thanks to its thoughtfully designed closure system, it is suitable for precise and controlled dispensing while minimizing the risk of accidental spillage during use as well as during transport.
The packaging is designed to provide reliable protection of the contents from external influences and at the same time to allow comfortable handling even with everyday use. The smooth surface of the bottle is ideal for applying labels and for individual product marking, which will be appreciated by home cosmetic makers as well as smaller manufacturers.
This bottle is supplied as a complete packaging with a flip-top cap, which ensures practical and hygienic dispensing of liquid products without the need for additional components. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using a suitable alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After rinsing and drying, the bottle is once again ready for safe use.
First, rinse the packaging mechanically with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for contact with cosmetics in order to remove residues of the original product. We then recommend applying disinfection using alcohol – rinse or spray the packaging with an alcoholic solution and allow it to air-dry. Suitable products include, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Once completely dry, the bottle is ready for new filling.
The bottle with flip-top cap is ideal for liquid to medium-viscosity products such as facial toners, tonics, light gels or emulsions. For very thick gels or balms, dispensing may be less comfortable, so it is advisable to test in advance how the specific formulation behaves in the packaging. We recommend preparing a small trial sample and checking whether the product dispenses smoothly and without excessive pressure.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. First empty the bottle and rinse out any product residues in order to minimize contamination of the recycling stream. Then follow the recommendations given in the product parameters, where the material type and the corresponding waste management category are specified. In general, it is appropriate to place plastic packaging in the container designated for plastic, or according to local sorting rules. Separating the bottle and the cap before handing them over for recycling can increase processing efficiency.
The simplest way to find suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on a specific category (for example bottles, jars or pots), you will find the filter at the top of the page. There you can narrow down the offer according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. This allows you to quickly select packaging that will meet the technical and design requirements of your product.
