Clear plastic jar with lid represents a universal and practical packaging component for cosmetic makers, small food products and artisan workshops. Thanks to its transparent design, it allows quick visual inspection of the contents, which is ideal for presenting the colour, texture or structure of the finished product. In terms of volume and construction, it is designed to reliably protect creamy, gel and loose blends from contamination and normal handling during storage or sale.
This clear plastic jar with a sealing lid is suitable for packing various types of cosmetic preparations, small food products or raw materials intended for further processing. The smooth surface of the packaging makes labelling easier and ensures a professional brand presentation, while the solid closure minimises the risk of accidental opening during transport.
This jar is supplied as a ready-made combination of jar and lid, so you can use it immediately for filling and packing your products without the need to search for a separate closure. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, this jar is constructed to reliably hold even thicker creams, butters or scrubs. The wide opening makes filling and scooping out the product easier, and the solid lid helps limit undesired drying of the surface or contamination during normal use. We recommend always testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging during longer-term storage.
The jar can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed, especially within your own production or for personal use. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based). Disinfection helps minimise the risk of microbial contamination and contributes to longer stability of your products.
For cleaning, we recommend using a mild cleaning agent and lukewarm water, then allowing the packaging to dry thoroughly and only then disinfecting it. The plastic material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because with prolonged or intensive heating there is a risk of deformation. The jar is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher, in order to preserve its shape and the functionality of the closure.
If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend first emptying it and removing product residues. Then dispose of the packaging according to the recommended sorting symbol stated in the product parameters on the page – depending on the type of plastic, throw it into the appropriate container for sorted waste. If the jar contained highly polluting or specific substances, follow local rules for disposal of such waste.

When using it repeatedly for samples, always pay attention to thorough cleaning and disinfection of the packaging before refilling it.
