Product description

Plastic jar with white lid – milky represents a practical and hygienic packaging material suitable for the safe packaging of various cosmetic and craft products. The robust plastic container with a sealing lid protects the contents from dirt and unwanted contamination and allows convenient storage and transport. Thanks to its reliable closure, this jar is suitable for packaging creamy, gel-like or semi-liquid mixtures, as well as thicker preparations and powders. The milky design of the packaging helps to reduce the access of light to the contents and supports the stability of more sensitive formulations.

Possible uses

  • packaging of face and body creams, butters, ointments and balms
  • storage of peelings, massage blends and body wraps
  • practical jar for gels, clay and mud masks
  • packaging of waxes, solid perfumes, pomades and hair pastes
  • container for loose and powdered cosmetic mixtures (masks, bath salts, powder cleansers)
  • storage of smaller amounts of experimental or test formulations
  • organisation of small components in the workshop or home production (e.g. pigments, glitter, small free-flowing ingredients)

Advantages of the packaging

  • Stable plastic material provides a solid construction of the jar, which retains its shape during normal handling, transport and storage.
  • Protection of the contents thanks to the well-fitting lid, which reduces the risk of unintentional opening, drying out or contamination of the packaged product.
  • Milky design limits the direct impact of light on the contents and contributes to better stability of light-sensitive formulations compared to clear plastic.
  • Universal use for a wide range of cosmetic, craft and hobby products in solid, semi-liquid and loose form.
  • Low packaging weight makes it easier to transport finished products and reduces logistics costs when selling or shipping to customers.
  • Easy filling and dispensing thanks to the wide opening, which simplifies not only filling the jar, but also the comfortable use of the final product.

Combining with closures and dispensers

This jar is supplied together with the corresponding lid, which forms a functional unit with the packaging. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure that the packaging works reliably with your particular product.

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this jar be used repeatedly?

The jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container and the lid must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After completely drying, the jar is ready for refilling.

For which type of products is this jar most suitable?

The jar is ideal for thicker and firmer cosmetic formulations where easy access to the contents and comfortable scooping with fingers or a spatula is important. It is especially suitable for creams, butters, ointments, balms, peelings, clay masks, waxes or hair pomades. Thanks to its compact shape, it is also suitable for smaller test series or travel sizes.

How should filled jars be stored correctly so that the contents are not damaged?

We recommend storing filled jars in a dry, clean and cooler place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Always close the lid carefully to minimise the contact of the contents with air and impurities. When storing several pieces, it is advisable not to overload the jars and to arrange them so that there is no excessive pressure on the lids.

How can this packaging be safely disposed of and recycled if I no longer plan to use it?

If you do not want to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the packaging as much as possible and remove any product residues. Then put it into the appropriate container for separate collection of plastics in accordance with local recycling rules. In this way you will reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of the material.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To make it easier to choose the packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the chosen packaging category. In the filter you can clearly set parameters such as the type of neck, size, colour or packaging material. The results automatically adapt to the selected criteria, making it easy to find a bottle, jar or vial that will best match your product and the desired method of dispensing.
