Transparent plastic bucket with lid is a practical and universal container made from high-quality plastic material, ideal for packaging loose as well as semi-liquid products. Is it possible to use the plastic bucket repeatedly?

Yes, the bucket can, with appropriate handling, be used repeatedly, but we recommend following strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it – for example using products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the service life of the packaging as well as of the product itself.

How should the bucket be properly cleaned and disinfected before further use?

After emptying, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bucket, washing it with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. Then apply disinfection – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable – and before new filling, again allow the packaging to air out until completely dry. This minimises residues of cleaning agents and moisture that could affect product quality.

How can this plastic packaging be safely disposed of and recycled if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the bucket further, we recommend recycling according to the plastic type given in the product parameters (the material designation and the relevant recycling symbol can be found directly with the product in the parameter table). Before handing it over to sorted waste collection, remove any remaining contents, optionally rinse the packaging and allow it to dry. Then place it in the container designated for that plastic type according to the locally applicable waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.
