Can this glass bottle be used repeatedly?

The container can be reused if hygienic principles are observed, especially for home production of cosmetics or test samples. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol denatured of plant origin. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated off is the bottle ready for the next filling.

How should I properly clean the glass medicine bottle before first use?

Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to drain. It is then advisable to disinfect the inside and the neck with alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol intended for cosmetic use), allow the excess alcohol to drain off and let the bottle dry completely. The same procedure is suitable for repeated use in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.

Closures or dispensers made of other materials (plastic, metal) should be sorted separately according to their material composition.
