Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of a quality intended for this purpose, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the packaging has completely dried is the bottle ready for a new filling.

How should I correctly clean the glass bottle with dropper before further use?

The glass part of the bottle can be cleaned by rinsing with a suitable detergent, then thoroughly rinsing with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný) and allowing it to evaporate. Clean the dropper and rubber or plastic parts gently to avoid mechanical damage and always check that they seal and dose correctly after cleaning.

Glass bottles are generally very suitable for preparations with a higher proportion of oils or active ingredients, because glass is a stable and inert material. For formulations with a distinctly acidic pH, a high alcohol content or specific additives, however, we always recommend producing a test batch that you leave in the packaging for a certain time. Then check the sealing of the dropper, the condition of the material and any changes in fragrance, colour or consistency of the product in order to verify long-term compatibility.

How should I correctly recycle this glass medicine bottle if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying, remove any product residues from the glass container and place it in the appropriate container for sorted waste for the given type of glass. It is advisable to separate the dropper and other parts of the closure (plastic or rubber components) from the bottle and dispose of them according to local rules for separated waste. Adapt the exact method of sorting to the data in the parameter table and to the recommendations of your collection system.
