The glass bottle with a glossy black-and-gold dispenser represents an elegant and professional packaging solution for high-quality cosmetics as well as artisan preparations. The smooth glass surface allows convenient labeling with stickers and at the same time ensures stability and safe storage of liquid products. Precise dosing using the glossy dispenser supports hygiene during use and reduces the risk of contamination or wastage of the filled content.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the bottle ready for further safe use.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category of bottles, vials or other packaging material, you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. In it you can combine several criteria at once – for example the type and diameter of the neck, the size of the packaging, the colour and the material used. In this way you can quickly choose the packaging that best matches the specific formulation and the intended dosing method.
Before first use we recommend mechanically cleaning the glass bottle, rinsing it with potable water and then rinsing it with demineralized water or a suitable solvent according to the type of formulation. After the inner space has dried, it is appropriate to disinfect the packaging with alcohol (for example products available on Handymade) and allow the alcohol residues to evaporate completely. Only then is the bottle ready for filling, which reduces the risk of microbial contamination.
The glossy dispenser is ideal especially for liquid and slightly viscous formulations, such as serums, oil blends, fluid facial concentrates or treatment drops. Thanks to its precise stroke it allows the application of a smaller amount of product and is well suited for targeted use, for example on the face, hair roots or nails. For very thick emulsions, we recommend performing a dosing trial before serial filling and adjusting the dispenser if necessary.
If you no longer wish to use the bottle, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle, after being emptied and basically rinsed, is sorted into the container designated for glass. The dispenser and any plastic or metal parts should be separated and sorted in accordance with local waste sorting rules (usually into plastic or metal collection). Before handing over for recycling it is advisable to remove product residues in order to facilitate further processing of the materials.
The bottle is suitable both for final products and for smaller test batches, for example during the development of new serums or oil blends. Its practical volume and dispenser make it possible to realistically test the behaviour of the formulation during longer-term use – stability, any settling or changes in viscosity. For development batches, however, we recommend always clearly labelling the packaging to avoid confusion with finished products intended for customers.
