Glass bottle – medicine bottle made of clear glass is a practical and elegant container suitable for packing a wide range of liquid preparations and concentrates. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the ribbed child-resistant cap, it provides reliable closure and helps protect the contents from accidental opening and leakage. This type of medicine bottle is popular in cosmetic manufacture, homemade recipes and professional formulations, where precise handling and safe storage are important.
The transparent glass allows good visual control of the contents and the shade of the product, which you will appreciate when working with your own blends, tinctures, serums or aromatherapy products. In combination with a suitable type of closure, this bottle is a flexible and reliable solution for craft and small-scale professional production.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and caps created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of stable and safe use under your specific conditions.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based). A medicine bottle prepared in this way is suitable for safe refilling with a new formulation.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the interior space and the surface that comes into contact with the product with alcohol (e.g. isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the bottle ready for filling, which minimises the risk of microbial contamination.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend sending it for recycling according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product. In most cases, the glass bottle can be placed in the glass container after being emptied and basically cleaned of any remaining product. A cap made of another material (for example plastic or with an inner liner) should be separated from the bottle and sorted according to local waste collection rules. By following these principles, you support efficient recycling of packaging materials.
The medicine bottle is ideal for liquid and low-viscosity products such as facial serums, concentrates, liquid active ingredients, tinctures, drop blends, aromatherapy solutions or auxiliary solutions for cosmetic manufacture. It is also suitable for storing smaller trial batches, reference samples or test formulations, where precise handling of a small amount of contents and good control of the appearance or clarity of the product are required.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to select the packaging according to key parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer to the packaging that is most suitable for your specific product and method of use, whether it is cosmetics, technical solutions or other specialised preparations.
