FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this glass vial suitable for thicker serums or only for thin liquids?

The integrated dispenser is designed for common liquid and slightly thicker cosmetic preparations such as facial serums, light emulsions or fluids. For very thick or gel formulations, we recommend first testing the dosing on a small trial batch to verify smooth extrusion without excessive pressure and clogging.

How should I correctly prepare the vial before the first filling and repeated use?

The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol, which you can find in our range: IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps minimise the microbial risk and extends the stability of the finished product.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not plan to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information provided in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the glass container after emptying and basic rinsing. The dispenser and plastic components (if used) are sorted according to the material type stated in the parameter table. Before placing them in the collection container, it is advisable to separate the individual parts, which will make their subsequent processing in the recycling process easier.

Is this bottle also suitable for travel and for a cosmetic bag?

The compact dimensions and precise dosing make this vial a suitable container also for travel sizes of facial serums or special treatments. However, we recommend always checking that the dispenser is firmly tightened and transporting the packaging in an upright position. When carrying it in luggage, it is practical to place the bottle in a small protective case or bag to reduce the risk of mechanical damage to the glass.
